Shipping & payment for WooCommerce
Answer shipping and payment questions automatically
"Do you ship to Canada?", "What payment methods do you accept?", "Has my payment gone through?" — CognitCXT answers from your actual WooCommerce shipping zones, payment gateways and order records.
Example conversation
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes — we ship to Canada via Standard and Express shipping, along with our other international zones.
Good. Has my payment for order 4021 gone through?
Order #4021 is Processing, paid via Credit Card (Stripe), with transaction ID ch_3Nk... — so yes, it went through.
Shipping and payment questions stall a sale — or a support ticket
Before someone buys, they want to know you ship to them and that they can pay how they want to. After they buy, the first worry is often whether the payment actually went through. Both are quick to answer, but easy to leave unanswered if no one's around.
These questions also tend to arrive outside business hours — a customer checking out at night, or anxious after a payment that didn't show a clear confirmation. CognitCXT answers immediately, using the shipping zones and payment gateways actually configured on your store.
How it works
- 01
Customer asks about shipping or payment
For example, "do you ship to the US?" or "did my payment for order 4021 go through?"
- 02
Assistant checks your store
For a general question, it reads your configured shipping zones and enabled payment gateways. For an order, it verifies the order belongs to the logged-in customer first.
- 03
Customer gets a direct answer
Available shipping methods, accepted payment options, or that order's payment status, method and transaction ID.
Why store owners use it
Real shipping zones, not a script
Zones and methods come straight from your WooCommerce shipping settings, so answers change automatically when you do.
Real payment gateways
Accepted payment methods reflect whatever's actually enabled on your store, including gateway descriptions.
Payment status with the details
For a specific order, the assistant confirms the order's status, payment method and transaction ID — not just a guess.
Fewer "did it go through?" messages
Customers get a definite answer immediately instead of waiting for someone to check the order.
Frequently asked questions
Does it show real-time carrier tracking?
No. Order shipping answers come from the order's shipping method and address in WooCommerce — the assistant doesn't fetch tracking numbers or delivery estimates from couriers.
Can it quote exact shipping costs?
It reports which shipping methods are available for a zone or country, based on your WooCommerce shipping settings. It doesn't calculate a live shipping rate for a specific cart.
Does it process payments or refunds itself?
No. It reports an order's existing payment status, method and transaction ID from WooCommerce. Taking payments and issuing refunds through your payment gateway is unchanged.
Can guests ask about payment status on an order?
No. Order-specific payment questions only work for the logged-in customer who owns that order, the same as order tracking.
